As a primary care physician by training, I work towards providing accessible, quality healthcare for everyone. I believe that technology can help achieve this goal.
As the Head of business development for J-APAC (Asia Pacific & Japan) Healthcare Life Sciences Startups, I help the highest potential startups to grow and scale, as well as nurture the ecosystem. I working with cross-functional teams to achieve this through technical, business and talent enablement.
For example, Capital Connections, B2B Enterprise GTM, informal advisory and expansion support. I/we do not take an equity or capital position, or any fees for this.

I am positioned in the intersection of different skillsets, including; ecosystem building, mentoring, commercialisation, entrepreneurship, clinical, regulatory, quality, monetisation, design, data interpretation. Within this, my special interests are clinical UX design & research as well as clinical governance & validation.
As a tongue-in-cheek quip, I usually describe myself as a “Physician Defector” having gone from “Bench to Bedside to Behind the Monitor”. I believe it is technology that will help to create accessible, quality healthcare for everyone and my journey has been focused on helping to refine and scale innovations through my various roles.
Having matured in healthcare and tech environments, it is essential to be quick, precise and effective.
