Begonia blancii ‘Dark’ is a trailing-scandent species from the Philippines where it is typically found on limestone surfaces. It has unique paddle-shaped leaves with rounded edges. ‘Mottled’ form has dark olive green to black leaves. Although it prefers higher temperatures and humidity, it can be acclimatised as a houseplant. It is drought tolerant.
